Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, has strongly condemned the fly-tipping that is taking place on Crateford Lane, Codsall.
Gavin wrote to the Council after a series of local residents contacted him about an increasing number of incidents in the area.
In recent months, items such as cans, bottles, footballs and even wooden pallets have been dumped on a lay-by on Crateford Lane.
Gavin said: “We are extremely fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the country. Incidents such as this are not only visually abhorrent, but can also be extremely damaging to our environment.
“I have already written to the Council, calling for immediate action to be taken to prevent this patch from becoming a permanent eyesore in our picturesque countryside.”
