Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, attended the St. John’s Church Festival on June 14th 2014.
The fete was organised to raise money for continued maintenance and renovations to St. John’s Church.
On the day, Gavin drew the raffle and met with a number of visitors at the event.
Additional entertainment included plant stalls, a bouncy castle and afternoon tea.
Gavin said: I greatly enjoyed my visit to the St. John’s Church Festival. The organisers did a wonderful job putting the event together.
The church plays an incredibly important role in the local area and relies upon the support of residents to survive. The money raised from this festival will be going towards the continued maintenance of the church and to ongoing renovations to the building.”
