Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, has voiced his support for Openreach plans to build ultra-reliable Full Fibre broadband in 3,932 premises in South Staffordshire alone.
Following Gavin’s campaign for better fibre broadband in South Staffordshire, many constituents look to benefit from new ultra-reliable Full Fibre broadband.
The plan is set to support the hardest to reach communities that have previously struggled with fast and reliable broadband across the UK, in line with the government’s plan to level up the country.
In South Staffordshire alone, 3,932 premises are set to gain access to this new ultra-reliable Full Fibre broadband, in addition to the existing coverage.
Commenting, Gavin said "I am delighted by the news that around 4,000 households which otherwise might not have been reached will now benefit from new ultra-fast broadband. I remain committed to supporting the further expansion of ultra-fast broadband across both South Staffordshire and the UK so that we can ensure no household is left behind."
