Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, opened the Christmas Tree Festival at St Nicholas Church in Codsall.
A number of Christmas trees that had been decorated by different groups of people in the parish had been placed around the church. Gavin met with a number of the volunteers who had given up their time to decorate the trees and the church.
Gavin said "I had a lovely time opening the Christmas Tree Festival at St Nicholas Church this year. The trees had all been decorated so beautifully and so much effort had been put into making it such a wonderful event. It was such a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit. I do hope that everyone else who attended the festival enjoyed it as much as I did and I want to thank the volunteers who decorated the trees for all their hard work and for making it such a special day."
