Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, will be judging The Tallest Sunflower Competition at Watery Lane allotments, in Codsall, next week.
The competition will take place on Wednesday 27th August between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Gavin visited the allotments last year to judge the competition, presenting the winner with a trophy to celebrate their achievement.
Gavin will spend the evening measuring the sunflowers for the coveted first place position.
Gavin said: “I very much enjoyed visiting Watery Lane allotments, last year. It is a great local facility and I am always very impressed at how well they are kept.
“I am delighted that I have been asked to return as a judge once again, this year, and I am expecting the competition for first place to be extremely fierce.”
