Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, held a supermarket surgery in Perton, over the weekend.
The session took place at Sainsbury’s on Saturday 1st February, from 11am to 12pm.
The supermarket surgery was an opportunity for shoppers to speak with Gavin about any concerns that they have, without needing to go through the hassle of booking a formal appointment.
On the event, Gavin said: “Our standard surgeries are always well attended but they are usually held in venues such as village halls and, however well publicised, there is always a danger that some residents may not know you are there.
"I received some great feedback from participants of the first two supermarket surgeries, located in Wombourne and Perton, and plan to hold further sessions in the months ahead. These events are a great opportunity for shoppers to spontaneously raise any issues, without having to go out of their way to book an appointment.”
South Staffordshire residents can find out the details of any other upcoming surgeries in their area by visiting Gavin’s website at: www.gavinwilliamson.org/events.
