Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited local charity Living Springs, to commemorate their 25th anniversary and see first-hand their progress since his last visit in 2013.
The Stourton based charity which began in 1985 is run by founders Robert and Jane Chapman. The aim of the charity is to provide child care and protection services to children and their parents from across The Midlands and offer care and support to vulnerable adults and young children within the community.
Since Gavin’s last visit in 2013, the charity has grown from strength to strength, and have expanded their support network within the community by employing a specialist community support officer. This addition enables the charity to continue with their ongoing support to the most vulnerable young adults and children and maintain a level of care even after the recipient has left their accommodation.
Gavin said: “I was delighted to be invited back to visit to Living Springs to commemorate their 25th anniversary. The level of passion and care that they provide to those that most need it in the community is unparalleled.
“Robert, Jane and their staff all show clear enthusiasm and passion within every aspect of the charity. It is evident that the care they show is the driving force behind their successful 25 years.”
