Gavin Williamson MP for South Staffordshire has called for the former Gorsty Lane Petrol Station site to be cleared up as it has been left to grow wild with debris. This follows complaints by numerous residents. Gavin Williamson MP has called for action to be taken to address the situation and as a result the District Council is looking at serving an enforcement notice in order to get this area cleared up.
Commenting on this Gavin Williamson MP said:
‘I am delighted that the Council is exploring what actions can be taken to get this site cleared up. It is a real eyesore and a blot on what is otherwise a beautiful village landscape. I very much hope that some action can be taken to enhance the area and make it look much better than it currently is.’
