Gavin Williamson, Member of Parliament for South Staffordshire, spent Saturday afternoon at Pegausus House in Elder Grove Wombourne to help Wombourne’s High Flyers run by Sheila Baker. The aim of High Flyers is to create respite care and services for disabled adults.
Commenting on this Gavin Williamson MP said:
‘This is a fantastic scheme that I am incredibly proud to be able to support. It is really important that any local people who have time to help lend some to help this project get off the ground. So much has been achieved and it is a real testament to those who have put so much effort into this.’
Gavin Williamson MP first helped High Flyers when they needed support to raise the funds to purchase the building off the South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust. They are hoping that the centre will be open at the end of this summer.
