Gavin Williamson MP for South Staffordshire was delighted to hear that a dilapidated bungalow in Coven Heath is to be demolished which may improve Coven Heath’s chances in a best kept village competition.
Following complaints from Coven Heath residents, Gavin wrote to the Chief Executive of Severn Trent Water to see what could be done to improve or repair the site. He was delighted to hear that Severn Trent will be demolishing the bungalow instead.
Commenting on this Gavin Williamson said:
“I am delighted that Severn Trent have given us a guarantee that the bungalow will be removed as it is a dreadful blight for the people who live in Coven Heath. It was wrong that the building was allowed to get to this level of disrepair in the first place and I am pleased that the village’s environment will be improved as a result.”
The bungalow is situated on Ball Lane in Coven Heath and Severn Trent have given a guarantee that they will address this issue.
