Gavin Williamson MP for South Staffordshire met with pupils from Codsall High School and Blakely Heath Primary School recently to answer their questions about politics. The Conservative MP was grilled bu pupils at both schools on his activities in the local community.
Commenting on his visit Gavin Williamson MP said:
You are often asked Questions as a Member of Parliament but it was great to meet both schools to answer their questions. I have to say that by the end of it you feel positively exhausted. It was a bit like Questiontime on the BBC only the pupils were very effective at extracting answers. It is great to see so many interested in politics at such a young age. I hope that by talking to the students it will encourage them to maintain an active interest in politics in the future.'
