Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, has visited a new assisted living facility in Gospel End that is due to open in November.
Gavin met with Regional Director for Ideal Care Homes, Maria Taylor and Home Manager Kim Dean to look at the progress that had been made ahead of the big launch.
A tree was planted in the gardens of the site to mark the occasion, with the care home set to create around 50 new jobs.
The site will have a range of amenities including a bar, a library, a landscape sensory garden and a state of the art home cinema setup.
The building is situated across three floors and some of the 66-rooms available have already been sold.
Speaking of the visit, Gavin said: “It was great to come down and meet Maria and Kim ahead of the grand opening. The facilities on offer are superb and it was a real pleasure to get to experience the plans that Ideal have in place for residents. I can’t wait to see what it will look like when its open”.
