Gavin Williamson, Member of Parliament for South Staffordshire, visited the Boulton Paul Museum which is situated at the MOOG Factory in Bilbrook to learn more about the work that the Museum does. As part of the visit Gavin did a full tour looking at the artefacts that the Museum has on display.
Commenting on this Gavin said:
‘I believe it is vitally important that we preserve our industrial heritage so that future generations can appreciate the fantastic contribution that so many factories, not only in South Staffordshire but right across the West Midlands, made to the war effort and to the industrial fabric of our country. The Boulton Paul Museum is a perfect example of this and I think it is vital that we protect it not just for us but for future generations to come.’
