Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited the Blakelands wedding venue in Bobbington to discuss the impact of COVID-10 on the wedding industry.
Gavin met with Managing Director, Paul Morgan, to discuss the current state of the wedding industry and how the Blakelands have adapted under the current Coronavirus guidelines. Gavin heard that even with the restrictions in place, 15-person weddings were still going ahead at the Blakelands.
Speaking of the visit, Gavin said: “I always love coming to see the Blakelands, but it is a shame that it is not in better circumstances. I’m glad that even during this difficult time, Paul can still operate at some level for his business and continue to put on great weddings in South Staffordshire that helps so many other surrounding businesses”.
