Sir Gavin Williamson visited Beacon Park Hospital to meet with local doctors, nurses, and the wider healthcare team who deliver for patients across Staffordshire.

Sir Gavin toured Beacon Park with Hospital Director Kerry Williams, where he learned about the services on offer at the facility, which include General Surgery, Ophthalmology (the treatment of eye disorders), and pain management. The Hospital works in close partnership with the local NHS Trust to provide additional capacity and support the community.

Beacon Park Hospital is run by Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of independent hospital services in England, with a network of 34 hospitals.

Sir Gavin said: “It was great to visit Beacon Park Hospital to meet the incredible doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who provide such amazing care for patients across Staffordshire. The hospital provides vital services alongside the NHS to support the wider health community by providing additional capacity. The hospital has a homely feel and I’m grateful for such a facility in my constituency.”

Beacon Park Hospital Director Kerry Williams said: “I was pleased to be able to welcome Sir Gavin to Beacon Park to showcase our work to deliver for patients, and ensure they can get the care they need, when they need it. Our staff work hard to deliver as part of the wider health community, so it was great to be able to showcase our work, and for him to hear directly from our team”
