Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, joined with local residents to raise money for Macmillan's Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning.
The 'Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning' is Macmillan Cancer Support's annual event which sees thousands of people raising vital funds for the charity. The Charity aims to ensure that nobody facing cancer feels alone and offers an incredible amount of support for those who need it.
Gavin attended coffee mornings in Codsall, Brewood, Swindon, Great Wyrley, Perton and Pattingham which had been organised by local residents.
Commenting on the coffee mornings, Gavin said: "I was so incredibly proud of residents in South Staffordshire who helped raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support last week. It was so heart-warming to see the amount of work that had gone into organising the coffee mornings, and I was really pleased to see that so many people got involved.
Macmillan Cancer Support is such an excellent charity and I know the funds raised will help towards ensuring that no one has to face cancer alone".
