Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, officially reopened the pub which has recently seen a major refurbishment
The pub recently underwent a change of management, as well as a major £150,000 refurbishment over the course of the year led by Davenports, one of the oldest breweries in the Midlands. The managers, Tom and Jade, were thrilled to welcome residents back to the pub on their grand reopening night.
Gavin cut the ribbon and officially opened the pub, taking part in celebrations with local residents and staff. Following this, there was live music from musician Andy Sax and a big reveal of the new and improved Elms Pub menu.
Commenting on the event, Gavin said: " I really enjoyed officially reopening the Elms Pub in Shareshill recently. The pub has had a major refurbishment by Davenports Brewery and looks fantastic. At the event, it was great to see so many residents out supporting their local pub and lovely to meet managers Tom and Jade. I look forward to visiting again in the future and wish them every success.
