Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, joined residents in Pattingham last week to raise money for the charity.
Gavin visited Pattingham Village Hall on Friday to attend a Macmillan Coffee Morning hosted by local resident Julie Wood.
This Friday, Macmillan is hosting their 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' which will see coffee mornings taking place across the UK. Donations on the day are made to Macmillan who are hoping to exceed the £29.5 million which was raised last year.
Commenting on the visit, Gavin said: "It was lovely joining with local residents in Pattingham on Friday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee morning, which was hosted by Julie Wood, was so well planned and I was pleased to see that so many residents attended. I'm really looking forward to getting involved in Macmillan's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday and I strongly encourage as many of you as possible to do the same. Together, we can raise money for this brilliant charity that makes such a difference in people's lives."
