Gavin at Bishops Wood Coffee Morning

Sir Gavin Williamson attended a coffee morning at The Royal Oak in Bishops Wood which takes place every Friday morning.

Sir Gavin met with residents to have a chat over a cup of coffee, whilst there were sweet treats and other snacks to enjoy.

The Royal Oak is at the heart of the community and an important social space for residents. The owners Ash and Sav also organise trips to seaside places, raise money for charity, and hold other events for the community.

Sir Gavin said: "It was wonderful to join Bishops Wood residents at the Royal Oak for a chat and coffee.

“Coffee mornings are a wonderful way for residents to socialise and reduce isolation. I would like to thank Ash and Sav for everything they do for the community.”
