Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, is set to go on a tour of Oldbury UK on Friday, 22nd of March.
Gavin will visit the factory premises at the Balliol Business Park, where he will meet with Group Managing Director Richard Skan, Group Sales and Marketing Director Allan Burley, Group Manufacturing Director Clive Higgs and Group Engineering Director Carl Holroyd.
He will be greeted with a coffee, before taking part in a tour of the facility, during which he will have the opportunity to meet a number of the company’s employees.
Gavin said: “I am very much looking forward to visiting Oldbury UK. This will be my second visit to the factory, but my first opportunity to go on a tour of the premises and it will be a great privilege to meet a few of the employees who have worked so hard to make this company such a big success story.
“Factories, such as Oldbury, play an extremely important part in South Staffordshire’s economy. Oldbury is one of the companies that is taking a leading role in the development of manufacturing in the area and has done a huge amount for both employment and skills in the region. As a company that exports the large part of its products abroad, this is exactly the kind of business we should be supporting, looking forward.”
