Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, attended the Salem Methodist Church annual plant sale over the weekend.
A wide variety of products were on offer at the event, which was being held to raise money for the Church Funds.
Plants, home produce and a range of refreshments – such as bacon butties, sandwiches, cakes, teas and coffees – were available to purchase on the day.
Visitors were also able to take advantage of a raffle and a bouncy castle, which was brought in especially for the occasion.
Gavin said: “It was a real pleasure to join everyone at the Salem Methodist Church for their annual plant sale. There was a massive variety of different plants, from bordering plants to items that were over six feet tall, at very reasonable prices.
“It is good to see the church so active in raising funds for such a wonderful cause and I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet with the volunteers who put together this extremely successful event.”
