Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, this week welcomed the Wombourne Women’s Institute to Parliament.
He took the group of 20 on a grand tour of Westminster Hall, the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
They then sojourned to Portcullis House, where Gavin talked about his role as an MP and his duties within the constituency.
On the visit, Gavin said: “It was a massive pleasure to be able to welcome the Wombourne Women’s Institute to Parliament. I greatly enjoyed being able to take them on the tour and speak to them about life as an MP.
“The group were extremely enthusiastic and displayed an impressive degree of knowledge about the building and its history.”
