Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited Silver Poplars Residents’ Association, near Albrighton last week after the Park’s recent redevelopment.
Gavin welcomed Mr & Mrs Guy, the newest residents on Silver Poplars, along with the Landlord, Chris Nedic and the Chairman of the Residents’ Association, Graham Evans and Vice Chairman, Terry Yeomans who accompanied him around the Park.
Silver Poplars has been undergoing a redevelopment by landlord Chris Nedic for a number of years, which has attracted many new residents. An Association has been formed by the residents and is working closely with the Landlord to support his efforts to complete the site, together with the general management of the Park.
After moving onto the Park Mrs Guy commented that they had been made very welcome by all the existing residents and the Landlord. Having searched for a Park Home Site for over 18 months they chose Silver Poplars as being the best they had seen and that both she and her husband are very happy.
The Landlord, Chris Nedic, welcomed the support given to him by the Residents’ Association along with their assistance with the sale of new homes and management of the Park.
Chairman, Graham Evans said: “The Association is very grateful for the support Gavin has and continues to give and for Chris Nedic’s willingness to work together for the benefit of both the Park and all the residents. There is a great community spirit, which generates a feeling of safety and security. The Association is also planning a programme of social events whilst continuing to help the Landlord with the further development and management of the Park. We look forward to welcoming further new residents in the future.”
After viewing the redevelopment Gavin commented: “I was extremely impressed with the layout of the Park, in particular that each of the homes has its own adjoining parking space and the plots are of a good size. The homes are of a very high quality and along with the well maintained landscaping, the environment is extremely attractive and pleasant and I wish all new residents who come to live here well in the future.”
