Small Business Saturday is the UK’s most successful small business campaign. As it enters its third year, the campaign seeks to highlight the popularity and success of small businesses across the country especially as the festive season approaches.
Speaking on the upcoming event: “I had a great time helping out at Kinver Post Office as part of the Small Business Saturday Campaign this year.
“Small Business Saturday is a brilliant initiative, highlighting and celebrating the hard work that small business owners have done this year. Small businesses are a vital part of British society. There are 5.4 million small businesses in the UK, providing jobs for about half of the private sector workforce. The success of our economy is built on the hard work and determination of the people who run and work for them.
“I am so proud of the fact that South Staffordshire has so many fantastic small businesses and they have played a significant role in the recovery of our economy. It’s so important that we continue to support small business owners in every way we can, which is why I am urging constituents to shop local all year round, especially during this festive season.”
