Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, met with members of the National Farmers’ Union and farmers from South Staffordshire.
Mr Williamson and the NFU discussed Brexit and the impact it may have on local farming, as well as the Agriculture Bill.
Speaking about the meeting, Gavin stated ‘’I was really pleased to have the opportunity to meet with members of the NFU and discuss their concerns, as well as hearing about the work that all the farmers are currently doing. We had a really good discussion and it is always fantastic to hear about all the positive contributions that farming makes to our local economy in South Staffordshire.’’
