The charity event at The Jubilee Hall, in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind, raised £760. Gavin spoke on his role as an MP and met with Carol Trigg and her guide dog Flora.
Gavin said: “The Brewood and District Inner Wheel is a very much valued organisation at the heart of so much activity in the village of Brewood. The amount of money that has been raised over the years is very impressive and is something that we should be very proud of.
“I had a wonderful evening and it was great to be able to talk to the guests about my role as an MP. I enjoyed meeting Carol and Flora, her guide dog, and to see how much difference the money raised can make. It was also a huge privilege to meet members of the group who have contributed so much to the local community.”
